If we support democracy in the United Kingdom then we support the right of people to speak their mind. You may vehemently disagree with what is being said, you may argue with every ounce of strength against what is being said but if you want democracy then you have to defend the right for that person to say what you may ultimately hate. You don't have to take on board what they're saying but you have to accept that they can say it!
